We found, acquire, and run web software — built for the long haul.
Web Downloads LLC holds a portfolio of internet software companies and puts its own people at the controls of each one. A short list of outside teams gets those same hands on their product.
We work the products we own — and we only advise on ground we've already walked.
We take majority positions and keep them. Every company holds on to its own name and its own team, drawing on shared infrastructure, funding, and engineers. We're not investors waiting on a quarterly update — we ship releases, answer support tickets, and carry whatever one product learns into the next one.
Advisory came second and stays second. Nothing we recommend reaches a partner before it has spent months live on our own servers, with our own customers and our own staff. We keep that roster short on purpose.
Outside the portfolio, we sit with a few teams on the parts of the job that decide whether software gets big or stays small. Every engagement comes out of something we run ourselves.
Getting customers
How buyers arrive and what they cost — creative, media buying, and the measurement sitting underneath every dollar that goes out the door.
Visits into habits
The path from a first click to something people open on a Tuesday morning: signup, activation, and the reasons anyone comes back.
Moving money
Processors, currencies, and disputes — the financial wiring that has to hold once real volume shows up.
AI inside the product
Assistants and agents doing actual work in the app and in support, with the human review that live traffic demands.
New countries
Which market to open next and how to open it: real translation, legal homework, and conversations with customers who live there.
Working inside your team
Months alongside your people with hands on the creative, the channels, and the hiring — not a slide deck and a handshake.
We only sell what we use.
Everything we suggest was paid for, staffed, and tested on our own customers before it ever left the building.
Few, and on purpose.
A short list of products, held closely. Most of the partners who ask each year get a no, and they get it quickly.
Nothing leaves the room.
No case studies, no logo walls, no talking about the work in public. Who we work with stays between us.
The long number wins.
We'll take the growth that's still there in five years over the growth that looks good in December.
